Who Will Coach the Team?

Step 1

Who will coach the team?

Flowchart: Process: Find a Coach

Locate a coach

Coach yourself

Obviously, the team will need a coach. You’ll want a coach that is able to deal effectively with all ages and skill levels of skaters. You will need to identify a coach so that both you and he/she can put a game plan together before you get too far into the process. If you have been involved in the sport for some time and have a good mentor or good understanding of the dynamics involved with the sport, you may decide to coach yourself. For more information in becoming a coach yourself, drop us an email and we’ll try to help out. Becoming a USARS Certified coach really isn’t all that hard if you have the desire, knowledge and patience to deal effectively with team members.

So you’ve identified the coach. What’s next?
